Inside Sales Rep | Location: Houston
As an Inside Sales Representative, you are a hunter and sales leader experienced selling to business and technical buyers into departments other than IT. Creative, energetic and a self-starter, you understand the sales process, how to sell innovation and disruption through customer vision expansion, and can drive deals forward and compress decision cycles. You also love understanding a product in depth and then communicating that product to the marketplace. If you’re a high achiever, we want to talk to you.
We're looking for a track record of proven sales success with at least 2 -4 years experience in enterprise software sales.
Responsibilities:
- Call key stakeholders including C-Level executives within our target markets
- Build a strategic territory development plan and execute against it
- Creating value for customers and maintain great relationships as the best way to exceed pipeline, and revenue targets on a sustainable basis
- Rapidly learn Cloud Process Management, Enterprise 2.0 and the Onit value proposition

Senior Developer | Location: Houston
As a Senior Developer at Onit, you will help design, develop, and implement cool, new modules and API’s for the Onit App Builder. You will mentor other developers and have responsibilities for a development team.
We do not hire based on a specific list of programming languages or technologies. Currently we use Ruby on Rails, Java, jQuery, ExtJS, MySQL and MongoDB. We are an Agile Software Development shop and believe in test-driven development. If you’re a good fit you will be able to master any technology, language, or development environment that we need in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 2 developers
- Plan, build and launch features for our products
- Design and implement testing strategies that are cost effective and maintainable
- Work closely with our designers and project management team to craft beautiful and well thought out user experiences
- Estimate development task and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Incredible coding skills. Your programming ability is way above average, as demonstrated by critical contributions to a string of successful projects. (Of course it’s okay if you’ve worked on some not so successful. We all have.)
- 5+ years experience using current object oriented language(s) for web development
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work in teams and mentor other developers
- Degree in CS/EE/Physics or other similar disciplines is preferred
- Ability to work and develop in Mac/Linux environment without whining

Customer Success Manager | Location: Houston
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for insuring that clients are getting great value out of
Onit Apps. You would be a welcome addition to the Onit team if your friends consider you outgoing and you don’t mind giving a presentation to a group of strangers. At the same time, you might be a little geeky but like working on cool new apps. Some might describe you as obsessive because once you start working on something you won’t stop until it’s done. Finally, the idea of being part of a hot startup is more exciting than showing up to a 9-5 job in the Energy sector.
We're looking for a track record of proven sales success with at least 2 -4 years experience in business process improvement sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and prospects to analyze business processes and problems
- Design solutions using the Onit App Builder
- Develop implementation plans and manage client implementations
- Work with Product Management to define new product requirements
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree preferred
- Experience working directly with customers to implement solutions
