How Does it Work?
Onit extends legal and business services to all employeess with a series of process links. These links can live on a shared drive (intranet), SharePoint site or can hosted by Onit. Processes in Onit can be anything from an involuntary employee termination to reporting a potential IP infringement to requesting a contract review.
A process in Onit is a combination of a form(s), a wizard for data entry and collection and workflow that can be either fixed or variable. For example, in a contract approval process, there could be a variable for a contract value that says if a contract is over $1 million, it has to be reviewed by the general counsel before it goes back to the client.
Onit comes with templates for standard processes but the real value comes from modifying the forms and workflow to be truly reflective of your legal department.

The screenshot below shows a typical form an employee would use to request a contract review. All of the forms and fields are completely customizable and can be designed specific to your legal or business needs.
