Pre-Sales Business Analyst, Professional Services

This person will be responsible for collaborating with potential clients and the sales team to drive requirements and scoping for Professional Services implementations. Primary responsibilities for this role will include documenting future state business and functional requirements to document functional scope for the implementation.

  • Help customers recognize their goals and drive towards a successful project description
  • Document the requirements for a specific customer engagement in a Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Provide assistance in creating a project estimate for the SOW
  • Use technical and functional expertise to ask questions to clarify the project scope
  • Forge strong partnerships with customers and colleagues
  • Provide strong technical understanding of Onit products with the ability to discuss the full platform and how it may be configured to meet a client’s business needs
  • Share relevant prior experiences and best practices with customers
  • Provide assistance to colleagues where needed
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
  • Play role of a liaison between the sales and professional services team for contract creation and project initiation
  • The individual must be a self-starter and be able to drive contracts to completion under tight timelines and competing priorities
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:       

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Ability to breakdown complex business process concepts into integral components
  • Ability to translate client requirements into a project scope description
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Determination in pursuit of process details and engaging relevant contacts to help to get answers
  • Ability to see the big picture and zoom in on the relevant details is a plus
  • Given the emphasis on collaboration across and within groups, there is a focus on “soft” skills including:
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • Effective team player
    • Driven and self-directed
    • Organized with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to travel with Sales team on an as needed basis
