Jill Black is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with nearly 20 years of experience delivering marketing, communication and branding results for software and technology companies.
As VP of Marketing at Onit, she is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of the marketing function including demand generation, messaging and brand awareness, email marketing and public and analyst relations. Additional responsibilities include guiding the development of premium content, overseeing the budget, analyzing campaign metrics and evolving the Onit brand globally to highlight the company’s innovative value proposition.
Previously, she served as senior marketing manager at Vignette Software, a global leader in enterprise content management. Prior to Vignette, she served as the director of marketing for Datacert, a leading provider of corporate, legal and IP spend and matter management solutions, and drove the strategic planning and execution of all corporate marketing programs in the United States, Canada and Europe.
In 2008, she was recognized by the Business Marketing Association (BMA) with the Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketer of the Year award. Under her leadership at Datacert, the marketing team won numerous marketing, communication and public relations awards during her tenure.
Jill graduated from Northern Arizona University with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Speech Communication.
