Jr. Marketing & Sales Development Representative

As a Jr. Marketing & Sales Development Representative at Onit, you can have a significant impact on the growth of our business. As a creative and energetic self-starter, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to produce qualified sales leads. This will include following up and cultivating inbound leads from marketing, as well as outbound, proactive, cold calling into target accounts. You will focus on scheduling discovery calls and demos for the sales team. If you are a high achiever and want to be part of a fast-growing software company, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Qualify inbound leads as prospective clients and schedule demos
  • Cold call prospects by phone, email, and other social platforms to generate leads and set demo meetings
  • Work effectively in a collaborative work environment and professionally represent the company to clients
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the solution offerings of the company
  • Capture and maintain accurate information in Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on sales pipeline, promotions, and other lead generation methods

Qualifications and Skills

  • Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be very comfortable on the phone and have experience with outbound, phone and email-based lead generation
  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (or other CRM) as well as social tools like LinkedIn for lead generation
  • 4-year degree strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate has experience with legal and/or sales enablement software
