Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will work in a high-performance team environment to drive business development and sales growth by acting as a product and technical resource and provide product evaluation support to prospective customers and the Onit sales team. You will have the opportunity to work with C-level executives to identify current and future customer requirements, and collaborate with a team to determine the best approach to respond to the changing industry and business landscapes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead RFP/RFI response resource
  • Work directly with Onit prospects and existing customers to demonstrate all Onit solutions
  • Architect and design solutions for customers based on business requirements
  • Support sales efforts and demo environments
  • Actively participate and consult with virtual teams to further technical projects and initiatives
  • Act as a training and education resource for internal Onit staff

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Computer Science is preferred
  • 1-3 years in technology or related industries
  • 1-2 years in a customer-forward role impacting team or territory revenues
  • Contract Management, Legal Holds or Matter Management software experience is highly preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • RFP/RFI response management skills
  • Basic knowledge of business intelligence/analytics reporting tools and concepts
  • Basic knowledge of Liquid Markup Language, HTML or related markup language(s)
  • Education and experience supporting top industry legal technologies a plus
  • Travel up to 10% with flexibility
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Perform other tasks, roles and responsibilities, as required
