Onit Expands Operations in Texas and Adds Vice President of Sales Solutions

AUSTIN, Texas — Onit, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Apps, today announced that it opened an Austin office and hired Paul Wallace as vice president of sales solutions.

Bringing more than 18 years of information technology experience, Paul Wallace comes to Onit from the SHI Corporate Division. In this role, Wallace developed and executed the “go to market” strategy that, starting from ground zero, saw the acquisition of 6,200 new customers and revenue of $623 million in two years. Partnering with key vendor partners like Dell, HP, and VMware, he was able to accelerate Data Center product sales two times faster than forecasted.

Prior to SHI, Wallace led the ground up development of three separate billion-dollar business entities, Dell’s Public Transaction Group, the SMB Relationship Division, and the Internet Partners Division. Wallace and Jim Currie, VP of Sales, will head up Onit’s new Austin office and drive the company’s sales operations.

“The hiring of Paul Wallace and our expanded presence in Texas is the result of our strategic plan for Onit and its continued and consistent growth,” said Eric M. Elfman, CEO, and founder of Onit. “Paul will leverage his experience in both ‘direct’ and ‘channel’ markets, along with his leadership in P&L, operations, and change management to help Onit create a market-leading sales operation. Throughout his career, Paul has shown himself to be a true ‘intrapreneur,’ something we hold in very high esteem at Onit.”

Onit’s Austin expansion is the result of accelerated revenue growth, 764% from 2012 to 2014, and the market demand for Onit’s Enterprise Apps to expedite and streamline a wide range of day-to-day processes such as contract review and approval, legal spend management, employee onboarding and matter intake. Onit’s Austin office is located at 3305 Northland Drive, Suite 505, Austin, Texas, 78731, just west of MoPac in Austin’s scenic Balcones Hills neighborhood.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Onit, Inc., a leading provider of Smart Process Apps, today announced that Paul Zengilowski, Customer Development Executive for Onit, will speak about how Apps are redefining the business process improvement landscape at the 16th Annual Process Excellence Week (PEX 2015) in Orlando, Florida. Onit will also conduct demos of its process automation and improvement Apps during the show in booth #40.

Zengilowski will present the topic “Navigating the “New BPM” Landscape: Taming Business Processes and Empowering Knowledge Workers” on Tuesday, January 20 at 3:55 pm. Highlighting how the right tools allow knowledge workers to focus on “process results” rather than difficult technology, this session will cover:

  • The simplicity of creating business Apps and how it facilitates rapid development and a “learn by doing” mentality
  • The importance of delivering world-class customer value that supports all points of interaction between knowledge workers
  • How to strategically integrate existing processes into a simplified process structure for litigation and compliance/transactions
  • The difference between a standard development toolset and custom development through IT
  • The strategic value and ROI of moving process initiation and approval out of email to gain increased transparency

“With workloads on the rise, taming unruly business processes has become a paramount business survival skill,” said Zengilowski. “PEX Network offers process professionals a place to come together, learn from one another, and take away strategies for their most pressing business issues. We are delighted to participate in this event and share best practices from our customers.”

NEW ORLEANS — (BUSINESS WIRE) — Onit, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Process Apps, today announced that it has unveiled e-signature integrations with DocuSign, Adobe EchoSign and HelloSign at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

“We are excited to have integrated services with two of the largest e-signature technology companies,” said John Gilman, Director of Products for Onit. “Expanding our integrated e-signature services has enabled our clients to execute more than 1,000 contracts a month, with many more clients going live soon. The addition of HelloSign helps service customers with a smaller volume of contracts.”

Launched a year ago with Adobe EchoSign, Onit now offers additional integrations with DocuSign and HelloSign to allow more organizations to integrate existing e-signature technology effectively with any or all of Onit’s Enterprise Process Apps. “As with enterprise software, one size does not fit all,” commented Gilman. “We pride ourselves on creating adaptable and scalable Apps that help our clients improve their processes so offering different models for e-signatures makes sense.”
