Onit Certification: Become Indispensable

Whatever your role, and whether you’re a valued Onit client or partner, attaining formal Onit credentials demonstrates to the world that you have the knowledge and skills to transform business processes using the Onit platform. Our formal certification program provides an easy-to-navigate framework for both securing and quantifying your Onit expertise. The program is comprised of different tracks, each of which contains varying degrees of certification. Pick one (or many) tracks and follow the guides below. Get started today!

Note: We don’t currently offer certification for Onit end-users. Our certification program is currently designed for those who implement Onit systems – both technical developers and project managers/business analysts. If you are interested in Onit end-user training, talk with your Onit implementation team.

Apptitude Track

Powering every Onit solution is the Apptitude platform: the robust business process automation engine upon which everything runs. Whether you’re simplifying a contract management process, building a full-featured e-billing or matter management system, or implementing a custom process, you must learn Apptitude’s many workflow tools and configuration options. The Apptitude certification track takes a vertical-agnostic approach, focusing on the key concepts required to work with Apptitude’s many workflow and metadata management tools. Knowledge gained in this track will form a solid foundation for the other vertical-specific Onit certification tracks.

This certification track contains one lane.

“Apptitude Developer” Lane
This is a technical lane, designed for Apptitude Developers who will perform the configuration/development tasks required to build solutions.
Apptitude Certification Level Courses Tests Other Requirements

*Implementation hours must be submitted to Onit using a specific format (provided by Onit upon request). Onit’s Certification Team will verify hours against internal records (and in some cases check with the Onit client in question). All hours must be associated with the development of a solution that was ultimately used in a production capacity (pre-sales and “proof of concept” work does not apply).

**The recommendation letter must provide justification that the candidate possesses “world class” and “expert” level knowledge of and experience within the Onit Apptitude platform. In addition, the letter must list two or more specific Onit solutions built by the candidate that were especially impressive. In some cases, Onit’s Certification Team will conduct a short interview with the author of the letter.
