Onit Expands Operations in Texas and Adds Vice President of Sales Solutions

AUSTIN, Texas — Onit, Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Apps, today announced that it opened an Austin office and hired Paul Wallace as vice president of sales solutions.

Bringing more than 18 years of information technology experience, Paul Wallace comes to Onit from the SHI Corporate Division. In this role, Wallace developed and executed the “go to market” strategy that, starting from ground zero, saw the acquisition of 6,200 new customers and revenue of $623 million in two years. Partnering with key vendor partners like Dell, HP, and VMware, he was able to accelerate Data Center product sales two times faster than forecasted.

Prior to SHI, Wallace led the ground up development of three separate billion-dollar business entities, Dell’s Public Transaction Group, the SMB Relationship Division, and the Internet Partners Division. Wallace and Jim Currie, VP of Sales, will head up Onit’s new Austin office and drive the company’s sales operations.

“The hiring of Paul Wallace and our expanded presence in Texas is the result of our strategic plan for Onit and its continued and consistent growth,” said Eric M. Elfman, CEO, and founder of Onit. “Paul will leverage his experience in both ‘direct’ and ‘channel’ markets, along with his leadership in P&L, operations, and change management to help Onit create a market-leading sales operation. Throughout his career, Paul has shown himself to be a true ‘intrapreneur,’ something we hold in very high esteem at Onit.”

Onit’s Austin expansion is the result of accelerated revenue growth, 764% from 2012 to 2014, and the market demand for Onit’s Enterprise Apps to expedite and streamline a wide range of day-to-day processes such as contract review and approval, legal spend management, employee onboarding and matter intake. Onit’s Austin office is located at 3305 Northland Drive, Suite 505, Austin, Texas, 78731, just west of MoPac in Austin’s scenic Balcones Hills neighborhood.
